Which is Best For You?
Wondering about the difference between the Nordictrack 1750 vs 2450?
These are both part of Nordictrack’s “Commercial” Series, which means they’re built to be tougher and stronger with a lot more luxury entertainment options as well.
Basically these are treadmill to make runners happy.
The Nordictrack 1750 (click here for the full review) runs is the most affordable of the two coming in around $1499.
While the Commercial 2450 treadmill (click here for the full review) runs a few hundred more around $1799.
So what are the real differences? And is the Nordictrack 2450 worth the extra? Here’s what you need to know
Nordictrack 1750 Vs 2450 – Main Differences:
#1 Large, 15 Inch HD TV Above the Console
The Nordictrack 2450 comes with a large 15 inch HD TV above the console that you don’t get with the 1750 treadmill. You can hook up your cable or DVD player and watch TV while you workout.
This may or may not matter to you, depending on if you have a TV in your workout area already. But a lot of people think it’s a very cool option.
Plus, since the TV is connected separately to the console it doesn’t shake or wobble as much as older TV’s that were placed into the console itself.
#2 Stronger Motor
The Nordictrack 2450 treadmill comes with a slightly stronger motor – 4.0 HP vs 3.6 HP.
Not a huge difference but it’s a little tougher.
#3 More Workout Program
The 2450 comes with a few more built-in workout programs than the 1750: 40 vs 38. Again, not a huge difference.
So the bottom line is that really you’re paying for the TV with the 2450 and a slightly stronger motor.
One thing to mention however is that the 1750 does come with a tablet holder above the console. So if you want to attach your tablet and watch your shows that way, it’s always an option.
