What Are the Most Popular Models This Year?

Popular treadmills are popular for a reason – they usually offer you the best value for the money. Or they may offer you something completely unique that you can’t find anywhere else.

The downside to popular treadmills however is that they tend to sell out first.

By knowing what you want ahead of time, you’re more likely to get what you want – and avoid having to wait for an out-of-stock treadmill.

What are some of the most popular Nordictrack models this year?

#1 Nordictrack Commercial 1750

This is one of the best-selling Nordictrack treadmills of all time.

Nordictrack 1750 Treadmill

It’s the most affordable model in Nordictrack’s “Commercial” series. These are treadmills that are built tougher than Nordictrack starter models with stronger motors, larger rollers, tougher decks and better entertainment features.

It’a s great mix of affordability – and high-end features.

Some highlights include incline and decline, a full color, touch-screen console with streaming workouts or world trail runs from iFit and an extra-wide, extra-long deck for running.

If you’re looking for a great overall home treadmill that is ideal for both runners, walkers and families, it’s one to consider.

#2 Nordictrack Commercial X22i Incline Trainer

This is a monster machine that gives you several benefits over a standard treadmill.

One of the best? You get up to 40% inclines!

So you have so much more room to grow with this machine than with a standard treadmill with a 10 or 15% incline.

This is great for high-calorie-burning interval training. In fact, according to the manufacturer, you can burn almost 5 times more calories on an incline trainer as a regular treadmill.

So if you’re looking for a more effective workout, faster weight loss results or a way to get a great workout in less time, the X22i is worth considering.

Nordictrack X22i Console

Another benefit?

A massive 22-inch, full-color, HD touch screen console. This is like having a TV attached to your treadmill. You can connect with iFit online and stream fitness classes to your treadmill – or run trails all over the world.

The incline trainer also gives you a deeper decline than any Nordictrack regular treadmill – up to 6%, which is better for crosstraining.

While it’s not the cheapest machine Nordictrack makes, if you want the ultimate treadmill with benefits that you don’t get with a standard model – this is one to check out.

#3 Nordictrack S22i Bike

We don’t talk much about Nordictrack bikes on this site – but I thought it worth mentioning here, just in case you might be thinking about picking up a Nordictrack bike instead of a treadmill.

The S22i bike was released just last year and exploded in popularity.

It’s a cheaper alternative to the overpriced Peloton. It even gives you a few things the Peloton doesn’t – like incline and decline for a more immersive training experience. You also get free handweights for upper body training.

It gives you streaming classes, like the Peloton – but you also get world trail rides as well, which you don’t get with Peloton.

Last year it sold out in the first week of the new year and people had to wait for a few weeks to get their bike. So I thought it was worth mentioning here as well.

When Are You Likely To Get The Best Deals?

Watching the Nordictrack New Year sales over the years, I’ve noticed that the best discounts are usually found in the first 2 weeks of January.

By mid-month, the best deals level off a bit. Or the less popular products will go on sale while the popular treadmills will go back up in price.

That’s just my observation. I can’t guarantee it will happen like that this year – since I don’t work for Nordictrack. But if past history is any indicator, that’s what I’d expect to see this year as well.
