Nordictrack X11i Incline Trainer Review – The Benefits:

Burn Almost 400 Calories in 20 Minutes

Looking to lose weight fast? Want to burn more calories in less time? The X11 can get you there.

You can burn up to 381 calories walking at a 40% incline for 20 minutes (as opposed to burning 87 calories walking at a 0% incline).

This is almost 5 TIMES the calorie burning. With your body burning through calories like this, you’ll see results in the mirror extremely fast.

Plus, because the treadmill belt rises to meet your feet as you walk, this also makes for a much lower impact workout. That makes the X11i incline trainer great if you have bad knees or sore joints or hips.

Strong 3.75 HP Motor

nordictrack x15i reviewMore use – and higher inclines – means you need a tough motor to hold up to the extra strain (vs a regular treadmill).

The Nordictrack X11i gives you a  super-tough 3.75 HP motor. The motor is self-cooling to help prevent it from overheating, even during longer workouts.

They also use a larger case for reduced vibration (which means a quieter workout).

If you have multiple users in your home or you just plan on long and frequent workouts, a stronger motor will ensure that your treadmill lasts longer and holds up well under the added strain.

Large Full-Color, HD Console

The console on the Nordictrack X11 is larger than many treadmills –  at around 10 inches across. It’s also touch-screen and multi-color.

So you can watch iFit scenery pass you by in full color – which can make workouts a lot more enjoyable.

Don’t want to watch iFit scenery? Just check your workout stats with a swipe of your finger across the console.

The Nordictrack X11i incline trainer console also comes with a built-in music auxiliary port so you can plug in your phone or other device and play your favorite workout music through the built-in console speakers.

Train in Exotic Locations with iFit Coach

With iFit Coach you get individualized coaching 24 hours a day. You can track your activity, exercise, calories and even your sleep patterns online and reach your best health goals ever.

You can also choose to run famous trails all over the world and see the scenery pass you by in the console window. Train in exotic locations from Santorini, Greece to the Swiss Alps, all directly from your treadmill.

You also get access to streaming fitness classes every day – from yoga classes to running workouts and more. You can follow your favorite professional trainers as they lead you through effective cross-training exercises.

Plus if you buy the trainer through the Manufacturer here, you can get a 1 Year membership to iFit Coach included with your treadmill. So you can try it out and see how you like it for a full year.

More Room To Run

One of the past complaints with many incline trainers was that the belts were too short to run on (they were originally designed only for high incline walking).

However, Nordic Track has fixed this by adding an extra long 60″ belt to the X11i incline trainer. They’ve also widened the belt from 20 to 22 inches.

This gives you extra room to really stretch your legs and run. It’s also ideal for taller users as they won’t feel like they’re going to fall off the treadmill.

Take a Break with 6% Decline

In addition to a high 40% incline, the X11 also comes with 6% decline which gives you even more crosstraining options. It’s also really neat because when you run different world trails using the iFit feature, the treadmill inclines and declines to match the actual trail.

Nordictrack X11i Incline Trainer Review – What You Should Know:

Does Not Fold Up

Because of the limits of the high incline design, the Nordictrack X11i incline trainer does not fold up. So if you’re looking for something that folds, you may want to go with a regular folding treadmill instead.

Bottom Line?

The Nordictrack X11i gives you all the key benefits of an incline trainer – for a very affordable price.

You still get up to 40% incline with 6% decline for better crosstraining and super-fast calorie burning.

And with iFit Coach you can explore trails all over the world or take a new workout class every day right from your treadmill.

While the X11i has a smaller screen console than the other incline trainer models, it’s also much more affordable.

So it’s a great trade-off if you want the benefits of an incline trainer – without a huge price tag.

This does look great. The product design and features are very appealing. The added advantage is the access to Live fitness and iFit Membership. I haven’t seen that on a treadmill before. But what if I don’t need to lose weight?
