Can You Watch TV on Nordictrack 1750?
One of the most common questions people have about the popular Nordictrack 1750 treadmill is:
Can You Watch TV on the Nordictrack 1750 Treadmill?
This makes sense – the 1750 looks like a health club treadmill with a large, HD touch-screen console, similar to a TV screen. You can stream iFit world trail runs or even take streaming or live fitness classes right from the screen.
However, as of this writing,
No you cannot watch TV from the Nordictrack 1750 treadmill screen console.
Nordictrack has not configured the software on the screen to allow this. (Not to say that some people haven’t tried. But I wouldn’t recommend this. It might mess up the iFit software on your screen. And if this happens, then you have an even bigger problem on your hands when the screen/iFit/fitness programs won’t work).
So What Can You Do if You Want to Watch TV (or Netflix) on Your Nordictrack 1750 treadmill?
Not to worry – I have 2 easy solutions for you.
The first of course, is that you can always set up your Nordictrack 1750 treadmill in front of your home TV (like we used to do in the old days). Then just watch it from there with your TV remote in hand.
If that doesn’t appeal to you – there’s another option for you to consider.
Instead of the Nordictrack 1750 treadmill, you can always check out any of the Nordictrack EXP Treadmills (currently 3 different models).

The EXP treadmills are similar to the Nordictrack 1750 – in that they have full-color, HD, touch-screen consoles where you can stream iFit programs and scenery.
They also have up to 12% incline – just like the 1750 model.
But there’s a major difference here: Unlike the 1750 treadmill, the EXP treadmills all come with a media shelf!

So you can simply grab your tablet or phone and stream whatever TV shows you like through that using your apps – Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu etc. This way, if you want to watch movies or TV shows you just do it with your tablet or phone using the media shelf on the EXP treadmill console.
Or if you want to stream the iFit world trails or classes – you can do that using the console screen.

Another bonus?
If you buy any Nordictrack EXP treadmill from the Manufacturer, they start around $1000 less than the Nordictrack 1750 treadmill!
So this is a great way to get a solid Nordictrack treadmill with iFit – but still be able to stream your favorite TV shows and movies – for hundreds of dollars less (not a bad deal).
Any downsides?
None of the EXP treadmills have 3% decline – like you get with the 1750 treadmill. They also have shorter belts – 55 inches vs 60 inches.
But for the price difference – some people may not mind that too much.
So overall if you’re wondering ” Can I watch TV on the Nordictrack 1750 treadmill? ” then technically the answer is no. But the Nordictrack EXP treadmills are a good workaround to consider here.
Or just set the Nordictrack 1750 treadmill up in front of the TV and watch programs that way.
