Do Nordictrack Treadmills Go On Sale?

Everyone likes to get a great deal – that’s understandable. Unfortunately it can be tricky – because of Nordictrack’s popularity – to find sales today.

This post will try to answer the question “Do Nordictrack treadmills ever go on sale?”

I’ll also be breaking down where you can go for the latest sales, best times of year for sales and what you should know before buying (like is it REALLY a sale?)

So let’s dive in:

Do Nordictrack Treadmills Go On Sale?

The good news?

Yes, they do.

However, they’re getting harder to find.

Nordictrack is a very popular brand and at certain times of the year, they’re hard to keep in stock. So the motivation to put them on sale is not there.

Another factor?

The last couple of years have been challenging for everyone – and fitness equipment manufacturers are no different.

They’re dealing with rising inflation costs, supply chain shortages and greater shipping costs due to the Covid situation. So at the end of the day, Nordictrack really can’t afford to put a lot of their treadmills on sale – since their up-front manufacturing and shipping costs are rising so quickly.

Another issue? Inflation.

Yup – it’s not just food that’s going up these days, it’s also treadmill parts.

Nordictrack, for the most part, has been ok at trying to keep prices down. They’ve introduced the new more affordable Commercial treadmill – the 1250. And they’ve kept lower priced models in stock like the EXP7i treadmill.

But it’s challenging.

However, with all of that said, you can get a sale on a Nordictrack treadmill – if you know where to look.

Where to Get Nordictrack Treadmill Special Sales

First of all, Nordictrack has a little-known special sales page here. They update this pretty regularly with any of their treadmills or other equipment that have had recent price drops.

For example, as of this writing, the uber-popular Nordictrack Commercial 1750 treadmill is on sale for $2199. The regular price on this treadmill is usually $2499 – a $300 discount. That’s a great savings.

So if you want to look at current sales, check out the Nordictrack Special Sales page here on a regular basis for anything new that comes up.

Another thing you can do?

If you’re willing to buy second-hand, check out a place called Get Fit Cardio. They’re an authorized reseller of Nordictrack products.

This means they have permission from the company to resell treadmills that have been returned for some reason – usually due to box damage or minor surface scratches.

What many people don’t realize is that if a box is damaged for any reason, the company can’t resell the treadmill as “new”.

So Nordictrack sends them to authorized resellers like Get Fit to resell for them.

Even though the treadmills are fine (and thoroughly tested), they can’t be sold as brand new due to the damaged boxes. (So you may get a treadmill without a box that is fully assembled – which can be a bonus for many people).

The result for you?

A great Nordictrack treadmill on sale that’s in good working condition – but at up to $700 off the retail price. And if you use the link below you’ll see a special coupon code in the top left corner of the page to save even more.

There are a few things to know if you’re going to buy used – which I covered in this post. But if you’re ok with them, then it’s a great way to get a Nordictrack treadmill on sale at any time of the year.

Best Times of The Year for Nordictrack Treadmill Sales

There are, of course, times of the year where it’s easier to find sales. The first time is near the end of the year, usually October to November.

Why?

Well, this is when Nordictrack starts bringing in the new models for the next year. So they have to move the old models out.

And if they have extra supply of a certain treadmill, they will usually mark that particular model down. If you don’t mind getting “this year’s model” you can usually find some pretty good prices.

The next time of course is around Christmas, New Years and Black Friday. The holidays and new year is the busiest time for fitness equipment sales. So usually Nordictrack has some pretty good options to roll out.

They even sometimes bring back popular models from years past just for the season. And the prices on these models are usually quite good.

The downside?

Holiday sales – especially Black Friday sales – sell out fast. Sometimes stock is even gone by the middle of the day on Black Friday.

So keep this in mind.

If you want to make sure you get your treadmill before Christmas – or New Years – you may want to consider ordering earlier than usual this year, sale or no sale.

How Else Can You Save?

Well, you can usually find some older models kicking around big box sports stores. And every so often those stores will mark the treadmills down.

Just keep in mind that these treadmills tend to be the cheaper, older models as Nordictrack saves the most popular, newer models for their own site. So do your research on the model before you buy to make sure it’s a good fit for you.

nordictrack 1750 treadmill alternativesI’ve also noticed that a model in store might have a model name that I’ve never heard of before.

And when you go to research it online, there’s nothing – no reviews or anything. That seems a bit strange to me – and a bit risky.

So this is something to keep in mind.

One Final Tip to Save Money?

If you’re buying direct from the Manufacturer here, wait around on their website for a few minutes. You’ll sometimes see a pop-up window offering you a discount. It may be small (like $25 or even $50) – but it’s still a discount.

So hopefully that helps to answer the question, Do Nordictrack treadmills go on sale?

They do – but you have to know where and when to look.

Plus, I hope it gives you some insight as to when you want to buy and what to know before you buy – so you can get the best fit for your needs!

Good luck and happy shopping!
