It’s a great blend of health-club style features for an affordable price.
Plus, Nordictrack has just updated the 1750 model this year – with an entirely new, streamlined look.

Nordictrack 1750 Review – Key Benefits:
Larger, Full Color, Touch-Screen HD Console
The HD console on this treadmill takes it up another level – it’s more like the consoles you find on health club treadmills.
It’s full color and touch-screen sensitive. You can watch iFit world scenery in full color as you run – or follow a personal trainer along the journey as they point out the sites.
You can also take a live or streaming fitness class from the console. Or just swipe back and see your workout stats (more on iFit below).
Plus Nordictrack has updated the 1750 model this year and made the screen even larger! They’ve gone from a 10-inch screen to a larger 14-inch screen.
So it’s easier and more enjoyable to lose yourself in the world trails or the iFit classes when working out.
New, Streamlined Look
Nordictrack really changed things up this year with a new streamlined look on this treadmill. It looks more like that famous $4000 commercial treadmill you’d find in a health club.
They’ve made a lower step-on height (which is great if you have a lower ceiling height). They’ve also pared down the console, lowering it while raising the screen to a more comfortable viewing angle.
Plus you can also now tilt and pivot the screen. This is great if you want to get off the treadmill and continue your workout on the floor.
Get Better Crosstraining with Responsive Incline AND Decline
While most treadmills at this price point give you incline, it’s hard to find one that also gives you decline.
You get up to 12% incline and 3% decline with the Nordictrack Commercial 1750. This can help you get extra crosstraining and a more effective workout.
The best part?
It integrates with iFit and the Googlemaps trails. So treadmill inclines and declines to match the actual trail you’re running for a more virtual reality-type experience.
Travel the World With iFit
iFit Coach connects your treadmill to the Internet using the Wifi in your home. From there you can track your workout progress over time to see how far you’ve come and set new goals.

You can also run or walk famous trails from all over the world. You can hike the Swiss Alps or take a guided walking tour of Florence. Explore the pyramids in Egypt of power walk through the streets of Paris.
Need some extra challenge? Can’t get to the gym?
No problem.
Take a live or streaming studio fitness class right from the comfort of your own home.
The trainer can control your treadmill’s incline or speed for you throughout the workout for a seamless class experience (you can also override this if you choose).
With the LIVE classes there’s also a leaderboard where you can see your stats or compete with your friends in real time. It’s the next best thing to taking a class at the gym with your friends.
iFit Coach basically takes you up to a whole new level of treadmill training.
The great news is that if you get the Nordictrack 1750 treadmill direct from the Manufacturer, you’ll get a Full family membership to iFit included for a short time. So you can try it out first and see if you like it!

Active Pulse Technology
The Nordictrack 1750 treadmill now comes with Active Pulse technology. This is an option you can use that automatically controls the treadmill speed or incline to maintain your optimal heart-rate zone.
Folding to Save Space
The new Nordictrack 1750 folds up and locks into place easily with the shock-assisted folding mechanism (to save the strain on your back). There are also wheels on the bottom to make it easier to move around.
(However at 340 pounds it’s probably not something you want to do frequently.)
Nordictrack 1750 Treadmill – What You Need to Know:
iFit Membership
While you can try the full iFit membership out for a short time, if you want to keep using iFit, you’ll need to renew your subscription.
You don’t need the paid iFit membership to use the 1750 however. There’s a free version of iFit you can use with the treadmill. The free version also includes a few built-in workouts. (But you won’t get access to the full iFit library or classes).
Active Pulse
While the Active Pulse option is very cool, be aware that you’ll need to buy the SmartBeat Heart Rate Forearm monitor for it to work (it doesn’t come included with this treadmill).
