Nordictrack 1750 vs T9.5S Treadmill – Which is Best For You?
Trying to compare the Nordictrack 1750 vs T9.5S Treadmill
Wondering how they stack up?

The Nordictrack Commercial 1750 is Nordictrack’s most affordable treadmill in their “Commercial” series. These are treadmills built tougher with strongerm motors, heavier decks and larger rollers.
The Commercial 1750 treadmill is also their most awarded treadmill and has been around in one form or another for over 7 years now (updated frequently to stay current).
The Nordictrack T9.5S treadmill has only been around for about a year. It’s the premium model in Nordictrack’s new T-series of home treadmills.
These are treadmills built to be affordable – but still have a lot of fun entertainment perks to keep you busy on your treadmill.

So how do these treadmills stack up? And which is the best option for you?
This post will help you compare the Nordictrack 1750 vs T9.5S Treadmills to help you decide.
So let’s get started:
Nordictrack 1750 vs T9.5S – Price
There isn’t really a clear winner here. The Nordictrack 1750 treadmill is currently around $1799 with Free Shipping here.
The Nordictrack T9.5S is very similar and you can currently get it for around $1799 with Free Shipping here.
The prices however do jump around a bit throughout the year. So it never hurts to check up on the latest prices to see if one treadmill comes out more affordable than another at the time you’re buying.

Console Differences:
Both consoles gives you a large, full-color, HD touch-screen console. So you can view your workout stats in full color or run trails all over the world with iFit Coach.
Both consoles also have dual-speed cooling fans and ports for your phone with speakers so you can play your workout music through the console.
The difference however is found in the SIZE of the console. The Nordictrack 1750 treadmill console is 10 inches across:

And the Nordictrack T9.5S console is a bit larger at 14 inches across:

The larger screen on the Nordictrack T9.5S treadmill is a definite benefit – since it makes your workout stats easier to read. It also makes the iFit scenery more fun and enjoyable to watch.
Here’s another view of the Nordictrack T9.5S console:

And the Nordictrack 1750 Console:

As you can see, the layout is also a bit different for the two treadmills as well – with the Nordictrack 1750 console being a bit more polished.
However one thing people may not realize is that the speakers on the Nordictrack 1750 treadmill are larger (3 Inches) and better quality than the speakers on the Nordictrack T9.5S (which are 2 inches).

Incline/Decline Differences
The Nordictrack 1750 outshines the Nordictrack T9.5S treadmill here. You get up to 15% incline (vs 12% incline on the T9.5 Treadmill).
You also get up to 3% decline on the Commercial 1750 – which is great for crosstraining. The Nordictrack T9.5S treadmill does not come with decline.
So basically you have a bit more room to grow and crosstrain with the 1750 model.
Nordictrack 1750 vs T9.5S: Motor
There’s also a slight motor difference here. The Nordictrack T9.5S gives you a 3.6 HP motor – which is excellent.
However the Nordictrack 1750 goes just a bit better with a 3.75 HP motor.
Nordictrack 1750 or T9.5: Belt Width
Both treadmills give you a very generous 60-inch belt (which is great for runners or taller users). However, the Nordictrack 1750 treadmill gives you a slightly wider belt (22 inches vs 20 inches on the Nordictrack T9.5S).
So you have a bit more room to spread out on the Commercial 1750.

Construction Differences
As stated above, the Commercial treadmills like the 1750 treadmill are made with stronger construction basics. You can see this in the motor differences (see above) as well as the belt size differences.
Another thing most people miss however is the size of the rollers on these two treadmills. Larger rollers help to reduce static on the belt and ultimately help prolong the life of your treadmill.
The Nordictrack T9.5S treadmill comes with 1.9 inch rollers – which isn’t bad.
But the Nordictrack 1750 treadmill steps it up to larger 2.5 inch rollers. So you have overall stronger construction on the Nordictrack 1750 model.

Cushioning
While both treadmills come with adjustable cushioning, the Nordictrack 1750 comes with Runners Flex cushioning – which is just a bit higher grade than the Flex Select cushioning on the Nordictrack T9.5S.
On the Nordictrack T9.5S treadmill you have to actually adjust the dampeners to change the cushioning (see pic above)
On the Nordictrack 1750 there’s a handy knob you can turn to adjust the dampeners and change the cushioning (see pic below). It’s just easier on this model.

Bottom Line?
So which is better when comparing the Nordictrack 1750 vs T9.5S treadmills?
They both have advantages.
The Nordictrack T9.5S has a slightly larger console screen – which can make the iFit workouts a bit more enjoyable to watch.
However the Nordictrack 1750 treadmill has the stronger construction – from the rollers to the motor to the extra-wide belt.
It also gives you more room to grow with the higher incline levels – and even decline.
So it really depends on what you want at the end of the day.
