Both treadmills have full-color, touch-screen consoles – but with some major differences between them.
Sole updated their console to an Android tablet-style screen this year and it measures 10.1 inches across as seen below:
You can use the screen to view your workout stats during your run. And, according to Sole, the screen also comes equipped with 7 preset apps like Youtube and Netflix.
Plus, you can also pair and mirror your phone or tablet to the screen.
This is great since you can, in theory, watch your favorite shows or Youtube videos as you run. And a lot of people love having this option.
However it’s fair to note that several buyers have complained that they’re having a lot of problems with the screen, online and mirroring features on their treadmill.

Another difference?
The Nordictrack 2450 screen is also separated from the console base. Because of this design, it also tilts and swivels. (The Sole F80 console does not have this feature).

The Sole F80 gives you up to 15 levels of incline. This can be a great way to challenge yourself and add high-intensity intervals to your workout.
The Nordictrack Commercial 2450 offers up to 12% incline. But since Sole measures their incline by “levels” and not percentage, it’s hard to really say which treadmill is better and gives you the highest incline.
They both look very similar overall in terms of the highest level of incline.
There is one difference you’ll want to know however – decline.
The Nordictrack 2450 treadmill also comes with up to 3% decline. So you can add extra crosstraining to your workout – or just take a rest and walk downhill for a while.
The Commercial 2450 also integrates with the iFit world trails to incline or decline automatically to match the terrain you’re running – giving you a more immersive experience.
Nordictrack 2450 vs Sole F80: Media Shelf
The Sole F80 does come with a media shelf above the console. So you can use this to attach your tablet or phone and watch shows or go online from there.
This is a small feature – but a lot of people like to have it. The Nordictrack 2450 treadmill doesn’t have this option.
Other Differences You Should Know:
There are a few other key differences when it comes to the Nordictrack 2450 vs Sole F80 treadmills.

With iFit, Nordictrack is focusing on giving people the ultimate “online experience” at home through their equipment. Sole isn’t doing this – it’s more of a DIY approach as far as entertainment, programs etc.
Neither is better or worse – it really boils down to what kind of workout experience you want.
