Nordictrack C700 vs C1100i Treadmill Comparison – Which is Better?
Trying to decide between the Nordictrack C700 vs C1100i Treadmill?
How do they compare? And which is better for you?

Both are super-affordable starter models that Nordictrack has brought in for the holiday season.
The C700 was brought back and updated with a new full-color touch screen (vs previous years models).
And the C1100i treadmill was brought back for the new Nordictrack plus program (where you opt in for the full iFit membership for 4 years). However you can also buy it separately without the Nordictrack plus option.
Both treadmills fold up for easy storage and also come iFIt compatible – meaning you can connect to iFIt through the full-color console.
From there you can run trails all over the world, track your performance over time or take a new fitness class from your home every day.

So how are they different? And which is right for you?
This post will show you the key differences between the Nordictrack C700 vs C1100i treadmill so you can find the best fit for your home.
Let’s get started:
Nordictrack C700 vs C1100i – Price
While prices can jump around, as of this writing the Nordictrack C700 is the more afordable of the two models. You can get it on sale at around $999 with Free Shipping here.
The Nordictrack C1100i treadmill comes in a bit higher. You can get it around $1299 with Free Shipping here.
So the C700 currently has a leg up, being the more affordable of the two treadmills.
Nordictrack C700 or C1100 – Console
Both treadmills come with full-color, HD, touch-screen consoles. So you can see your workouts stats in full color.
You can also run trails all over the world or take a new fitness class from your treadmill every day with iFit.
The main difference is in the size of the console. The Nordictrack C700 screen is 7-inches across as seen here:
And the C1100i treadmill console screen is larger at 10-inches across as you can see below:
The larger screen can make it easier to read your workout stats. And it’s a lot more fun when watching the iFit workouts and video-related content.
So the C1100i treadmill has a definite advantage when it comes to screen size.
Both treadmills give you integrated tablet holders in the console – which is a nice touch.
So if you don’t want to watch your stats – or stream iFit workouts, you can watch movies or videos on your tablet as you walk.
Another benefit to the C1100i treadmill console?
It has a dual-speed workout fan to keep you cool as you walk. This is not found on the C700 treadmill.
Nordictrack C1100i vs C700: Motor
The Nordictrack C1100i comes with a decent 2.6 CHP motor – which isn’t the strongest motor that Nordictrack makes.
But it should be fine for occasional running and regular walking.
The Nordictrack C700 treadmill comes in a bit better with a 2.75 CHP motor.
So you get a bit more motor power on the C700 vs C1100i treadmill.
Nordictrack C700 vs C1100i: Bluetooth
The Nordictrack C1100i – being relatively newer than the C700 has another advantage. The console comes Bluetooth smart-enabled.
So you can sync your playlists with the treadmill and your device and play them through the console.
The C1100i also comes with Auto-adjust technology.

This means it can respond automatically to the iFit world trail that you’re running. It will incline to match the terrain for example. It will also auto-adjust based on your workout class (you don’t have to make the changes yourself).
The C700 treadmill is not Bluetooth-enabled and does not have this auto-adjust option.

Nordictrack C700 vs C1100i: Size
Both treadmills come in at very similar machine weights (216 and 214 pounds). And they both have the exact same sized belts (20 x 55 inches).
However the actual footprint of the treadmill when in use is a bit different.
The Nordictrack C700 measures: 67.5 x 36 inches
And the Nordictrack C1100i measures: 56.5 x 37.75 inches
So the C700 is longer length-wise but a bit narrower. The C1100i treadmill is shorter length-wise – but a bit wider.
This isn’t a huge difference. But if you’re in a condo or very small workout area, this may be something to consider.

Bottom Line?
So which is better when comparing the Nordictrack C700 vs C11000i treadmills?
They both give you many of the same benefits like being super-affordable with 10 degrees of incline and up to 10 mph speed limits.
The Nordictrack C700 is more affordable and comes in with a slightly stronger motor power.
The Nordictrack C1100i comes with a larger screen – which many people do prefer. Plus it comes with Bluetooth and Auto-adjust to give you a more enjoyable workout experience.
So it really comes down to your what’s more important to you.
