Why Choose the Nordictrack 2450 Treadmill?
The Nordictrack 2450 is the more affordable treadmill of the two models – coming in about $600 less depending on when you get it, sales events etc.
It still has the strong construction that all Commercial series treadmills have including the solid-as-a-rock deck, 2.5 inch rollers and the higher-end cushioning.
You also get a lot of room to stretch out and move with the 22 x 60 inch belt.

While it isn’t as flashy as the Nordictrack 2950 treadmill (with the monster console), Nordictrack did upgrade the console last year – from 10 inches up to 14 inches.
So it’s a lot more enjoyable to watch your workouts stats and the iFit world trails on the larger screen on the new Nordictrack 2450 model.
It also strangely has more built-in workouts (50 vs 40). This may or may not matter to you if you’re going to try iFit – since iFit gives you access to thousands of streaming workouts and world trails to run. But it’s something to be aware of.
If you’re looking for a commercial grade runners treadmill that won’t break the bank, then the Nordictrack 2450 is your best option.

Why Choose the Nordictrack 2950 Treadmill?
This is pretty much the ultimate runners treadmill – top-of-the-line motor (and stronger than the 2450 treadmill), built-like a truck to hold up to long, intensive workouts and high end cushioning to protect your joints and back.
But the show stopper?
Well, that’s got to be the massive 22 inch console. It’s a full-color, HD, touch-screen console.
This is pretty much like having a built-in TV with your treadmill. You can watch your workout stats in full color – or run world trails from Paris to Hawaii with iFit.
It’s the next best thing to being there.
Plus you can also watch Livestream fitness classes direct from your console – or track everything from your treadmill workouts to your daily activity to your sleep patterns with iFit.

iFit is really about coaching you to the next level of fitness and giving you total control of your results – and the huge console on the 2950 treadmill is built to give you full enjoyment of the iFit experience.
While the Nordictrack 2950 treadmill may be overkill for the occasional walker – runners or multiple-user families will love it.
