Nordictrack Elite Treadmill Review
Nordictrack Elite Treadmill – A Good Buy for You?
Nordictrack has just introduced one of their most impressive treadmills of the year – the Nordictrack Elite Treadmill.
This has all the bells and whistles you could ever need or want in a treadmill.
While they’re calling it a “treadmill” – technically it’s an incline trainer – with inclines of up to 40% and declines of up to 5%.
This gives you more ways to crosstrain and burn calories faster than a standard treadmill.
You also get a more immersive workout with a 22-inch or 32-inch HD touch-screens.

Nordictrack Elite Treadmill Review – Benefits:
Get A More Effective Workout – in Less Time
With up to 40% incline on this machine, you can burn almost 5 times more calories than with a regular treadmill (according to the manufacturer). And with the 5% decline you also have more ways to crosstrain and challenge your body.
The high incline also makes it ideal for HIIT training – which can help elevate your metabolism for hours post-workout.
Too busy for a long workout?
With the Nordictrack Elite treadmill you can burn around the same amount of calories in 20 minutes as you would in an hour on a standard treadmill (walking at a high-incline).
So it’s a great time-saver if you don’t have a lot of time to workout – but still want an effective, challenging workout.
Extra-Large, Full-Color Consoles
You have the choice here to opt for a large 22-inch screen on the console or an even larger 32-inch screen (which is the largest screen that Nordictrack makes).
Whichever size you choose, these are both much larger screen sizes than you find on standard treadmills.
The larger screen makes you feel like you’re completely immersed in the iFit scenery, the world trails and the high-energy fitness classes.
It takes a boring old workout and transforms it into a virtual reality training experience that motivates you to go further than ever before.
The screen can also tilt and pivot. So you can find the best viewing angle for you. It makes it easy to continue your workout (or cooldown) off the treadmill.
Get Personalized Training with iFit
With iFit Coach on this trainer, it’s like having your own personal trainer helping you achieve your goals.
iFit Coach can track your workouts for you, help you set and reach new goals – even motivate you to reach higher than before!
Choose to run famous world trails – from Santorini to Thailand.

The incline and decline will integrate with iFit automatically. This means that when you’re walking uphill for example, the treadmill will automatically incline to match the terrain – pretty cool.
Don’t want to take a guided workout? No problem.
Use the Googlemaps feature to map out a trail of your own and hit go! You’ll watch the scenery pass you by in the console window as you walk!
Take a Studio Workout From Home
Don’t want to take a world-trail workout? Need something a bit different?
No problem.
Stream a studio fitness class to your treadmill screen. There lots of different types of workouts – from yoga to boot camps, HIIT training, strength training, stretching and more. There are workouts that are specifically designed for your incline trainer as well.
There are over 16,000 streaming workouts in the iFit library – so you’ll never run out of new things to do!
You can also take a LIVE fitness class and follow your favorite trainer in real time.
Or take the class at the same time as your friends and track your stats in real time.
Another benefit with an iFit membership is that you can have up to 5 family members using it. So the whole family can find something they like to do on this treadmill.
The best part?
If you get the Nordictrack Elite treadmill through the link below, you can get a Full iFit Membership included with your treadmill for a short time.

Lower Step-On Height
Nordictrack has designed this treadmill with a lower deck and step-on height than the other incline trainers like the X22i or X32i trainer. It’s easier to get on and off the machine, which many people do prefer.
Active Pulse Heart Rate Program
Want to make sure you stay in your target heart rate zone throughout your workout? No problem.
With Active Pulse, the treadmill will monitor your heart rate for you and make incline or speed changes to keep you in your target zone throughout your workout.
(Note however that you will need to add a Bluetooth-enabled heart rate monitor which is not included with this treadmill.)
Extra-Wide Belt
You get an extra-long 60 inch belt giving you lots of room to stretch out when running. Plus Nordictrack also added another 2 inches of width on the belt for a 22-inch wide area. So you can enjoy the extra-roomy feel as you walk.
Sled Grips and Push Bar
Add in more ways to crosstrain with the Sled Grips and Push bar on this machine. You simply set the treadmill to 1.0 MPH in manual mode and use the sled grips and push bar for more intense body strength training and stretching.
These are also integrated in some of the new iFit Coach workouts.
Nordictrack Elite Treadmill Review – What You Need to Know:
Does Not Fold Up
Because of the limits of a high-incline design, this treadmill doesn’t fold up. If you’re looking for a folding treadmill with lots of bells and whistles still, you might want to check out the Nordictrack Commercial 2450 treadmill.
iFit Membership
While you can try out the full iFIt family membership for a short time, if you want to keep using iFit, you’ll need to renew your subscription.
You don’t need iFit to use this treadmill – and there’s a free version you can use with a few built-in workouts. But it’s something you may want to know before you buy.
Bottom Line?
If you want the ultimate health-club-style treadmill for your home, it really doesn’t get better than the Nordictrack Elite Treadmill
You can see faster results in less time with the 40% incline and 5% decline.
Plus with the extra-large console screen and iFit workouts, you get a much more immersive experience than on any other Nordictrack treadmill on the market.
It’s probably overkill if you want a simple, basic treadmill. But if you’re looking for next-level results, this is a great option.
