Nordictrack EXP 14i Treadmill Review
Nordictrack EXP14i Treadmill – A Good Buy for You?
The Nordictrack EXP 14i treadmill is the top model in Nordictrack’s starter EXP series.
Nordictrack upgraded it this year with a new streamlined look and separate screen.
They also added a new device shelf that you can use to hold your phone or tablet, which is a nice touch.
The treadmill integrates with iFit world trails and will incline to match the terrain you’re running, for a more realistic training experience.
Plus it has a much larger screen than the other EXP models – making it more fun to watch the iFit world trails and workout classes.
So is the Nordictrack EXP 14i treadmill a good choice for you?

Nordictrack EXP14i Treadmill Review – The Benefits:
14-Inch, Full-Color Console
The Nordictrack EXP14i gives you an extra-large 14-inch full-color, HD, touch-screen console. So you can see your workout stats in full color with a swipe of your finger.
The screen is larger than the EXP7i or 10i models, making it more enjoyable to watch the iFit world trails or live fitness classes (more on iFit below).
The console also comes with 2 console speakers and Bluetooth audio capabilities. So you can sync your favorite wireless headphones to your treadmill and listen to your iFit trainer or workout music, completely undistracted.
And to stay cool as you walk or run, there’s also a dual-speed workout fan.
Media Shelf
This is a brand new addition this year. And while it may seem like a small thing, alot of buyers will love this option.
You can use the shelf in front of the screen to hold your phone or tablet. So if you don’t want to watch the iFit workouts, you can go online with your tablet and watch Youtube videos, read emails or surf social media as you walk or run.
Travel the World with iFit
The Nordictrack EXP14i comes iFit compatible. With iFit you can connect your treadmill online using the Wifi in your home.
From there you can run trails all over the world – from the Swiss Alps to the pyramids of Giza.

Take a walking tour through Florence or explore the temples in Thailand. There are guided tours and workouts as well as series (so you can return to the places that you love).
Don’t want to take a guided workout? No problem.
Use the Googlemaps feature to map out a trail of your own and hit go! You’ll watch the scenery pass you by in the console window as you walk!
iFit LIVE and Streaming Workouts
Take a new workout from the comfort of your living room every day with the iFit studio workouts.
Take a high-energy studio fitness class from your treadmill console. These workouts also include yoga, boot camps, HIIT training, strength training and more.
There are over 16,000 pre-recorded workouts in the iFit library – so you’ll never run out of new things to do!
You can also try the new LIVE streaming class option to follow your favorite trainer in real time.
Or take the class at the same time as your friends and track your stats in real time.
Another benefit with an iFit membership is that you can have up to 4 family members using it. So the whole family can find something they like to do on this treadmill.
The best part?
If you get the Nordictrack 14i EXP treadmill through the link below, you can get a Full iFit Membership included with your treadmill for a short time.
So you can try it out to see if you like it (Note you don’t need iFit to use this treadmill – it’s more like an add-on service if you want it).

More Immersive Training with Auto-Adjust Incline
The EXP14i treadmill also comes with another benefit you don’t often find on a mid-range treadmill – responsive incline.
This means that the treadmill integrates with iFit world trails. It can match the terrain of the trail you’re running for a more immersive training experience. Very cool.
It can also auto-adjust the speed or incline if you’re taking an iFit class and the trainer wants to control the treadmill for you (you can override this feature at any time).
Folding with EasyLift
You can easily fold this treadmill up and lock it into place to savespace. It also comes with hydraulic-assisted Easy Lift to save the strain on your back.
There are also wheels on the bottom for easy movement.
Nordictrack EXP 14i Treadmill – What You Need to Know
No Decline
Unfortunately Nordictrack is now only offering decline on their Commercial models like the Commercial 1750.
The treadmill will still incline up and down in response to the iFit trails or the incline buttons. But there is no specific decline feature with this model.
Shorter Belt
While Nordictrack has kept the price on this treadmill the same, they still face rising inflationary costs just like all companies.
And you can see this in the shorter belt on this treadmill. While you used to get an extra-long 60-inch belt with the EXP 14i teadmill, they have now shortened the belt to the sandard 55 inches.
This should be fine for most people. But runners or taller users may want to try a similarly priced treadmill with a longer 60 inch belt like the Commercial 1250 treadmill.
Bottom Line?
If you’re looking for a mid-range treadmill with a huge screen and a more immersive fitness experience, the Nordictrack EXP 14i is definitely worth checking out.
It gives you a much larger screen size than the EXP7i or EXP 10i models. Plus you get some very cool extras like the integrated device shelf and responsive incline.
Plus with the iFit membership, you can open up an entirely new world of training. Take live streaming classes, race against your friends, travel all over the world and explore – or just get customized workouts sent to your treadmill every day.
