Best Nordictrack Folding Rower? What You Need to Know
Does Nordictrack Have a Folding Rower?
Looking for the best Nordictrack folding rower?
Confused about your options?
Nordictrack used to make several rowing machine models that also folded up and rolled away for easy movement.

This included the older RW700 and RW900 models.
However, Nordictrack has upgraded these two models recently. You get a more streamlined look with with a redesigned, more stable base – closer to what you see in health club rowers.
With that redesign however they’ve also removed the ability to fold up.

However, not to worry – you do have options.
As of this writing, there’s still one model left that does fold up – the RW600 Rower.
The RW600 is the most affordable rower in the series – plus it’s also iFit compatible.
With iFit you can go online and row famous waterways all over the world, track your workout stats and even take rowing fitness classes from your home.

Another thing to like about this rower? It gives you 2 types of resistance.
You get up to 26 levels of silent magnetic resistance that you can control from your console.
You can also add even more intensity with the air resistance option as well. You can move this manually to fine-tune the resistance you get. So there’s a lot of room to grow and challenge yourself with this machine.
This is a nice touch since the other two rowers now only use magnetic resistance – they removed the air resistance option.
The Nordictrack folding rower RW600 is also designed for comfort
It’s built to give you a more ergonomic, comfort-added training session.
The molded seat and pivoting footpedals offer a super-flexible motion. The quick-release adjustable footstraps make it easy to get on and off the machine.
Are there any real drawbacks?
Well, it’s not as heavy as the other two rowers – which can affect stability. And the screen is not as large as you find on the RW700 or RW900.
But it’s also hundreds of dollars less – so it’s a fair trade-off.
I’m not sure how long the Nordictrack RW600 will be around – but if you’re looking for a solid, stable folding Nordictrack Rower that won’t break the bank, it’s worth considering.
