Considering the Nordictrack 1750 treadmill?

The Commercial 1750 is Nordictrack’s most popular treadmill – pulling in a number of “Best Buys” over the years and still going strong.

It’s a perfect balance of strong constuction with health-club-style entertaiment features – for a mid-range price.

Nordictrack usually updates the 1750 treadmill every year. But this year, they’ve really taken things to the next level.

The new Commercial 1750 model this year goes with a completely revamped style.

You get a sleek new look, a much larger console and some impressive tech upgrades to give you a more immersive experience.

The biggest change to the new model?

A Sleek New Look with Larger Screen

Nordictrack has lowered the console speed/incline controls and separated the top screen into more of a tv-style viewing screen.

Nordictrack 1750 Console

This places the screen more upright – similar to the TV-style treadmills you see at the gym.

This makes it more ergonomically friendly and easier to view (since you’re not looking down at it throughout your whole workout).

The new screen is also tilts and swivels so you can find the best viewing angle for you. You can also turn the console and keep watching your workout if you want to get off the treadmill to stretch, do yoga etc.

One of the best parts of the new console?

The 1750 comes with an even bigger screen!

While the old 2021 model had a generous 10-inch screen, the 2022 model now boasts a larger 14-inch screen. So it’s a lot more fun to watch your iFit world trail workouts – or take online classes.

The screen is still HD and touch-screen friendly. So you can connect to iFit or just scroll through the screen to see your workout stats.

There are still one-touch speed and incline buttons going up and down the sides of the main screen for quick, on-the-fly changes. And you still get the angled, dual-speed fan in the lower console to keep you cool.

This new pared-down sleek style also makes it easier to use your treadmill.

It’s less “cluttered” and easier to just get on the treadmill, choose your program and go. You don’t have to re-read the manual every time you get on to see which buttons do what, etc.

Another nice touch?

Nordictrack lowered the step-on heigh of this treadmill – which is great if you have a lower ceiling height and you want more room around your head while running.

Faster Response Time

Nordictrack added new dual 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz Wi-Fi Connectivity to this treadmill, which basically helps the treadmill to respond faster to both the live classes and the world trails.

So, for example, when your coach tells you “We’re going to speed things up here”, the treadmill responds in real time – you don’t have to wait as long for the treadmill to increase your speed.

This adds up to a more realistic feeling training experience.

New ActivePulse Technology

The Nordictrack 1750 treadmill now comes with Active Pulse technology. This is an option you can use that automatically controls the treadmill speed or incline to maintain your optimal heart-rate zone.

So you don’t have to worry about a thing. The treadmill controls the workout for you with both the speed and incline in order to keep you in your target heart rate zone.

New Premium Sound System

Nordictrack also upgraded the sound system this year to be even better. You have clearer sound through the premium audio speakers in the console.

The treadmill is also Bluetooth compatible so you can also pair your headphones and listen that way if you need to keep things quiet in your home.

Where to Buy:

As of right now, you can still get the 2021 model in stores if you prefer the look and style of the older model. They just released the 2022 model so it might be harder to find in stores right now.

More Benefits of the Nordictrack 1750 Treadmill

Incline and Decline

You get up to 15% incline and even 3% decline for added crosstraining and high-intensity intervals on this model. The treadmill also works with iFit Coach to incline and decline to match the terrain of the world trail that you’re running.

Adjustable Cushioning

Nordictrack also added adjustable cushioning to the Commercial 1750 treadmill last year.

With the adjustable cushioning, you can turn the cushioning up for a softer, more cushioned feel to your deck.

Or turn the cushioning down for a more road-like feel.

iFit Coach with LIVE Classes

iFit is an option that you have on this treadmill which can add a whole new dimension of training to your workouts.

With iFit you can track your workouts over time, set new goals and even get personalized workouts based on your fitness goals.

You can also stream high-energy fitness classes to your treadmill console or run trails all over the world.

The world trails are so much fun. You can take a walking tour through Tuscany or run through the mountains of Switzerland. You can also just choose to run any trail in the world and enjoy the scenery pass you by as you run.

Last year, Nordictrack also added the option to take both pre-recorded AND LIVE classes in real time from your home.

So you can follow your favorite trainers and take the class in real time with them – and thousands of other participants. You can see a live leaderboard during the classing showing your progress.

The best part about iFit?

As of this writing, if you get the Nordictrack 1750 treadmill through the Manufacturer, you can get a membership to iFit Coach included for a short time.

This is great since you can try it out first to see if it’s right for you. (You don’t need a full iFit subscription to use this treadmill – you can use the free one and still get several pre-loaded iFit workouts).

So that’s a brief recap on what’s new for 2022 on the Nordictrack 1750 treadmill.
