Nordictrack has just released their new 2022 Commercial 2450 model with some incredible new upgrades over last years’ model.

These new upgrades are designed to give you a more immersive, enjoyable training experience – whether you’re hiking through the Swiss Alps or strolling through the streets of Paris.

The best part?

A larger screen console!

They’ve actually increased the console display from 14 inches up to a whopping 22 inches, which really makes the world scenery come alive as you run.

Is the new 2022 model worth considering? Let’s take a look and see what’s new on the Nordictrack 2450 treadmill this year:

Nordictrack 2450 Console – New Model

New, Larger Console

Nordictrack has redesigned the entire console this year and made it look more like a health-club unit.

They’ve lowered the main cosole portion with the incline/speed buttons and added the screen on top as a separate unit above the console.

This places the screen more upright – similar to the TV-style treadmills you see at the gym.

So it’s not only more ergonomically friendly , it’s also easier to view (since you’re not looking down at it throughout your whole workout).

The new screen also tilts and swivels 180 degrees so you can find the best viewing angle for you. You can also turn the screen and keep watching your workout if you want to get off the treadmill to stretch, do yoga etc.

One of the best parts of the new console?

You get an even bigger screen!

With the old 2021 model seen below, you got a very respectable 14 inches:

But the new screen – seen below – takes it up to a whopping 22 inches:

The screen is still HD and touch-screen friendly. So you can connect to iFit or just scroll through the screen to see your workout stats.

Sleek New Design

Nordictrack also reworked the design of this treadmill to look more like a gym-style treadmill with a sleek new minimalist design.

By reducing all the clutter on the console while keeping what you need, it’s very simple to get on this treadmill and just go. You don’t have to read a manual to figure out which button does what.

It’s very simple and clean. And you still get the essentials like the dual-speed fan, emergency stop button, stability bar and incline/speed controls.

Plus, Nordictrack lowered the step-on heigh of the 2450 treadmill – which is great if you have a lower ceiling height and you want more room around your head while running.

ActivePulse Heart Rate Program

The 2022 Nordictrack 2450 treadmill now comes with Active Pulse technology. This is an option you can use that automatically controls the treadmill speed or incline to maintain your optimal heart-rate zone.

You don’t need to monitor anything or change your speed or incline. The treadmill controls the workout for you with both the speed and incline in order to keep you in your target heart rate zone.

New Premium Sound System

You also get a new premium sound system on the Nordictrack 2450 this year. You have clearer sound through the premium audio speakers in the console.

The treadmill is also Bluetooth compatible so you can also pair your headphones and listen that way if you need to keep things quiet in your home.

Where To Buy:

While the Nordictrack 2450 was just upgraded and is a bit hard to find in stores, you can get it direct from the Manufacturer here.

As of this writing they are also offering you Free Shipping and a 1-month iFit Family membership included with your treadmill.

Other Benefits of the Nordictrack 2450 Treadmill

Incline and Decline

You get up to 15% incline and even 3% decline on this treadmill. The decline is a great way to add extra crosstraining to your workout.

Explore the World with iFit

With iFit you can run famous trails all over the world. Explore the pyramids of Egypt of run along the shores of Hawaii. You can take a guided tour where your trainer coaches you along the way or you can run on your own.

You can also use the Googlemaps feature to map out your own trail and see the actual scenery pass you by in the screen as you run.

The treadmill will also incline and decline to match the terrain that you’re running – giving a much more “virtual reality” style experience.

Take a New Fitness Class Every Day

Another thing you can do with iFit is to choose from thousands of streaming fitness classes – from beginner to intense. Your trainer can even control the treadmill for you during the class (you can override this if you want).

Plus, last year, Nordictrack also added LIVE fitness classes. So you can follow your favorite trainer in real time and take a class with them and other iFit members.

The best part about iFit?

As of this writing, if you get the Nordictrack 2450 treadmill through the Manufacturer, you can get a full family membership to iFit Coach included for a short time (includes 4 people).

This is great since you can try it out first to see if it’s right for you. (You don’t need a full iFit subscription to use this treadmill – you can use the free iFit option and still get several pre-loaded iFit workouts).
