The high-incline walking also helps you get faster calorie-burning results in less time.
The X11i model improves on past models with a longer 60-inch belt for more room to stretch out and run.

Nordictrack X11i Incline Trainer Review – The Benefits:
Burn Almost 400 Calories in 20 Minutes
Looking to lose weight fast? Want to burn more calories in less time? The X11 can get you there.
You can burn up to 381 calories walking at a 40% incline for 20 minutes (as opposed to burning 87 calories walking at a 0% incline).
This is almost 5 TIMES the calorie burning. With your body burning through calories like this, you’ll see results in the mirror extremely fast.
Plus, because the treadmill belt rises to meet your feet as you walk, this also makes for a much lower impact workout. That makes the X11i incline trainer great if you have bad knees or sore joints or hips.
Full-Color, HD Console
The console on the Nordictrack X11 is smaller than other incline trainer models at around 10 inches across. But it’s still easy to read. It’s also touch-screen and multi-color.
So you can watch iFit scenery pass you by in full color – which can make workouts a lot more enjoyable.
Don’t want to watch iFit scenery? Just check your workout stats with a swipe of your finger across the console.
The Nordictrack X11i incline trainer console also comes with a built-in music auxiliary port so you can plug in your phone or other device and play your favorite workout music through the built-in console speakers.
Train in Exotic Locations with iFit Coach
With iFit Coach you get individualized coaching 24 hours a day. You can track your activity, exercise, calories and even your sleep patterns online and reach your best health goals ever.
You can also choose to run famous trails all over the world and see the scenery pass you by in the console window. Train in exotic locations from Santorini, Greece to the Swiss Alps, all directly from your treadmill.
You also get access to streaming fitness classes every day – from yoga classes to running workouts and more. You can follow your favorite professional trainers as they lead you through effective cross-training exercises.
Or for a more exciting experience, you can also take a LIVE fitness class and follow your favorite intructors in real time.
Plus if you buy the trainer direct through the Manufacturer, you can get a 1 month membership to iFit Coach included with your treadmill. So you can try it out and see how you like it first.
More Room To Run
One of the past complaints with many incline trainers was that the belts were too short to run on (they were originally designed only for high incline walking).
However, Nordic Track has fixed this by adding an extra long 60″ belt to the X11i incline trainer. They’ve also widened the belt from 20 to 22 inches.
This gives you extra room to really stretch your legs and run. It’s also ideal for taller users as they won’t feel like they’re going to fall off the treadmill.
Take a Break with 6% Decline
In addition to a high 40% incline, the X11 also comes with 6% decline which gives you even more crosstraining options. It’s handy to be able to take a break and walk downhill after a very intense session.
Another great option with incline/decline on this treadmill?
You get incline-matching technology with iFit. That means when you run different world trails, the treadmill inclines and declines to match the actual terrain for a more immersive experience.
Nordictrack X11i Review – What You Should Know:
Does Not Fold Up
Because of the limits of the high incline design, the Nordictrack X11i incline trainer does not fold up. So if you’re looking for something that folds, you may want to go with a regular folding treadmill like the Nordictrack 1750 instead.
No EKG Heart Rate Sensor
For some reason, Nordictrack removed the EKG hand grip heart rate pulse sensor from this treadmill last year. (It will however work with a wireless heart rate monitor and give you feedback on your heart rate).
The Nordictrack X11i is an upgrade on the traditional treadmill that can help you burn calories and see faster results in less time.
You’ll always be able to grow and challenge yourself with up to 40% incline with 6% decline.
And with iFit Coach you can explore trails all over the world or take a new workout class every day right from your treadmill.
While the X11i has a smaller screen console than the other incline trainer models, it’s also more affordable.
So it’s a great trade-off if you want the benefits of an incline trainer – without a huge price tag.
