The Commercial 1750 is currently one of the most popular, top-rated treadmills on the market.

It’s consistently pulling in “Best Buy” awards and combines affordability with health-club level features.

So naturally one of the top questions I get on this blog is “Where can I buy the Nordictrack 1750?

You have a few choices when it comes to purchasing this treadmill.

This blog post will give you a rundown of your options – with the pros and cons of each.

Where to Buy the Nordictrack 1750 Treadmill – 3 Options

#1 Direct From the Manufacturer

The easiest place to buy the Nordictrack 1750 is direct from the Manufacturer with A Special iFit Offer here.

They always sell the latest, most up-to-date model. So you’ll be assured you’re not getting some older model from last year that’s been sitting in a dusty backroom (as sometimes happens with stores – see below).

You can also easily compare the Commercial 1750 treadmill to other models like the 2450 or 2950 treadmills. So you can make sure this model is exactly what you want.

Another thing I like is that if, for some reason, you have a problem with your treadmill (delivery, questions, assembly issues, etc), you don’t need to go through a third party to try and get service.

You’ve bought the treadmill through them – so they have the records and you have the records. There’s no questions.

If you need help you don’t waste time trying to get a third party seller to deal with the company (which can be time-consuming and stressful).

#2 From a Third Party Online Store

The most obvious choice here is buying the Nordictrack 1750 from Amazon. A lot of people like buying from Amazon since they feel comfortable with it.

And they certainly have an easy-to-use checkout process.

However there are a few drawbacks you should know.

Nordictrack 1750 Incline

First of all, Nordictrack has their prices pretty locked down across the board – especially on this treadmill. So there’s really no pricing benefit to buying this treadmill on Amazon.

Plus, if something goes wrong with your treadmill, you now have to try getting service from Nordictrack through Amazon. And that process can be both time-consuming and frustrating.

I’ve heard nightmares about people having problems getting service, waiting for months for broken part replacements etc This doesn’t seem to be a problem with Nordictrack – all of the large treadmill brands that sell through Amazon seem to have this issue.

In my opinion, I think it’s just the logistics of going through a third party to get service vs going directly to the company yourself. This may change in the future but as of right now, it’s a problem.

I’ve also heard more stories of boxes being damaged in delivery from Amazon than from the Manufacturer. I’m not sure why this is – but again, it’s a hassle you don’t really need.

This is why you may not feel comfortable making a purchase this large through Amazon. It’s a bit risky. Still, if you feel comfortable doing it, it’s an option.

#3 From a Store

Nordictrack used to sell through major department stores like Sears or even Dicks. However they seem to be selling less and less through stores these days – moving more online.

You can still hunt around and probably find the Nordictrack 1750 at a store like Sears close to you. The benefit of buying from a store is that you can walk on the treadmill and make sure it has what you want.

The downside is that you might be getting an older model (I’ve seen some Proform and Nordictrack models in these stores from 2 years ago). And you won’t get the 1-year iFit membership included that you get from the Manufacturer. You might also have to pay for shipping as well.

Also, unfortunately with stores, the most popular models like the Nordictrack 1750 do tend to be harder to find – especially around peak times like Christmas and New Years.

So you could end up hunting around for days, hitting different stores trying to find this model. So again, it can be a bit of a hassle.

Still, buying from a store is another way to buy the Nordictrack 1750. Just make sure you’re getting the latest model and try to negotiate with them for Free Shipping if you can.

Summary:

So those are 3 places where to buy the Nordictrack 1750 treadmill. Hopefully they help decide which is the best option for you and save you time or frustration in the process.
